2012 Audi A1 Sportback : Review
The Automotive Giant,
Audi knew that A1 is going to rule the hearts of millions and it
happened the same way. Within an year of its launch, Audi A1 is the
apple of eyes of millions of people. Now it is the time to redefine it
and carve out the successor of Audi A1. yes, We are talking about Audi
A1 Sportback. Audi A1 sportback is the true symbol of sportiness,
youthfulness and pure emotion. Audi A1 sportback will be launched in the
beginning of 2012 and will be available in 12 different paint finishes.
As the world is pacing up with development and latest technology, it
has become quite important to deal with the outcomes of these rapid
changes. Traffic jams and rushy roads have become so common these days.
In order to overcome these problems, Audi, German Automotive giant, came
out with Audi A1 Sportback. 5-seater hatchback. It will be launched in six different variants ( 3 petrol variants and 3 diesel variants).

A1 Sportback 1.4 TFSI is equipped with 1.4 L (1400cc) Turbocharged
TFSI engine which is able to deliver a max. power output of 185 hp and a
max. torque of 250 Nm.With this engine specification, Audi A1 Sportback
shoots from 0-100 in 7 seconds while top speed is limited at 227 km/hr.
Top end diesel variant i.e Audi A1 Sportback 2.0 delivers a max. power output of 143 hp and shoots from0-100 in 8.5 seconds.
Talking about the exteriors:
Exteriors of Audi A1
sportback are just similar to those of Audi A1.The large and aggressive
front grille makes the Audi A1 Sportback to look more sporty and
appealing. Xenon plus headlamps with Day time Running LEDs (Homogeneous)
sets this car far above than its competitors. LEDs have been used for taillights because of that the new Audi A1 sportback looks even more
charismatic. Audi A1 Sportback is 155.5 in. long, 68.9 in. wide and 55.9
in. in height. Audi A1 Sportback is a spacious hatchback with a
wheelbase of 97.2 in. Such a long wheelbase ensures comfort and more
leg space in the second row of seating.
Top end model of Audi A1
Sportback is equipped with 17 in alloys whereas 16 in. is the standard
option for all base models. Lightest possible materials have been used
to carve out the exteriors of Audi A1 Sportback to ensure the minimum
unladen weight.
Talking about the interiors:
Interiors
of Audi A1 sportback are quite luxurious, spacious and bright. Leather
upholstery has been perfectly carved out. Seats are much more
comfortable and can hold the driver still at his/ her position while
taking turns at great speeds. Audi MMI is the standard feature for top
end petrol and diesel variants. Audi MMI is one of the best in car
navigation system. Each and every function related to Audi A1 Sportback
can be accessed and maintained through Audi MMI. Top end variants are
also equipped with 465 WT BOSE sound system (including 14 speakers)
which creates a perfect music ambience in car.
