Audi Q3 is Awarded as "Best in Class" by Euro NCAP Crash test

Just a couple of weeks ago, the Audi Q3 was awarded as " Best in Class" in the "4x4 Small off-road" category (2011) by the Euro NCAP. The all new Audi Q3 badged 5-stars for crash safety, which is the highest possible score.

The Audi Q3 was able to score that high just because of its magnificent  driver and passenger protection from the front and side impacts of  collisions. Audi Q3 works like a cocoon and itsfasten your seat belt reminder also helped it in becoming the apple of eyes of NCAP Assessment Team.

Audi Q3 scored full marks for Pedestrian protection as its unique design helps in mitigating the harsh consequences of collision thereby, ensuring protection. Audi A6 also scored 5/5 for driver and passenger protection from front and sidewards collisions. Audi A6 was able to score such a high score because of its child safety and pedestrian protection. Next generation equipments and accessories like Head Up display, Night vision cameras, Active lane assist etc also helped the all new Audi A6 to outrank other cars in the same category and to become the best in class.
More than 53 cars were tested for safety and security by Euro NCAP last year. The basis of assessment was divided in four categories Adult protection, Driver assistance systems, Child protection and Pedestrian protection. Both Audi Q3 and A6 achieved best results in all these categories and got 5/5 rankings.

And for your kind information, I would like to tell you that NCAP consortium  was established in 1997 and it consists of International representatives from Automobile associations, consumer protection organizations, insurers and European transport ministries. NCAP is known for its extensive car crash testings and demanding test requirements for Euro NCAP are of great standards which can only be fulfilled by Automotive giants like Audi etc.
